From the day of submission 8 Last May, the project has been developed in various parts program.
MELTIN 'was first meeting of choirs. Three choirs from Turin were engaged in the study a common repertoire of Balkan origin: COROG, Incontrocanto FABBRICADIVOCI and have worked often with the director Chorus Zoja Djurovic (Montenegro), which held in Turin a series of rehearsals in June and October 2010. ;
Zoia tracks led us to more voices, popular topic that we have "forced" to enter in the rhythm and melody in the Balkans, with frequent changes of rhythm and meter and many emotional and stylistic variations. The choirs have studied some tracks joint and several tunes "in chorus only, that will surely in the repertoire of music each.
The group of three choirs also joined some friends "scattered" and together we led to a chorus of about 90 items.
well as the activities of the polyphonic choirs MELTIN ' was also chorus for children and teens.
CHOIRS IN JUNE 2010, organized by Cantascuola, saw about 85 children and boys aged 7 to 15 years work together for three days, from 14 to June 16, led by Edward mattresses and Zoja SJUROVIC. We have learned many songs different origin (Greece, Macedonia, Bulgaria, Montenegro, Albania, plus a few songs Rom) which gave rise to a final evening (June 16) to the theater ATC c. I know Dante in Turin.
The enthusiasm of children, the high quality of teachers and the variety of proposals music (rhythm, meter, mode, unusual musical scales) have led to great results , and we wanted to keep some of that footage proposals for teaching choral to be carried out in schools for the current school year.
The latest initiative in order of time was the organization of four EVENING CHORAL aimed at people intrigued by the e issue.
To achieve them we took advantage of the availability of the new
HOUSE DISTRICT SAN SALVARIO (Who also organized
a series of "cocktails Balkan") at the which have found more than forty people who were involved in singing and dancing.
This edition "number zero" is completed by the availability of a number of cards and comprehensive material, edited by Claudio Canal, which will be published on the website ; for Cantabile and which will form the basis for
new initiatives on the subject.
The conclusion of the project will be the final concert of the

room at the ATC course Dante 14.
On that occasion there will be three polyphonic choruses, the group of children and also group of adults who participated evenings of song and dance in the Balkans.
will be a kind of "party" finale, which will help us to sum up this first draft and to design the next edition of MELTIN ' CHOIR we want to achieve in 2012.
