Tartit ENSEMBLE. TRAVEL IN THREE STAGES WITH WOMEN TUAREG
3-5-6 March 2010 State Archives - Teatro Vittoria - Torino Artintown

The 3, 5 and 6 March 2010, the Regional Commission Equal Opportunities presented in collaboration with the Association and Almateatro project, the group Tartit first Tuareg musical ensemble to perform on the international scene.

This trip inside the women's Tuareg culture has three stages:

THE MEETING AND THE TALE

March 3 hours from 17.00 to 20.00 State Archives, Piazza Castello 209 - Torino

Speakers: Fadime Walet Oumar, Marta My friend, Sara Tagliacozzo, Vesna Scepanovic.

Start the journey in the company of artists Tuaregs. Their stories, desires, problems, dreams of women in a society affected by poverty, drought, the socio-political changes of recent decades.

CONCERT

March 5 at 21:00

Teatro Vittoria Via Gramsci 4 - Turin

Introduced by the President of CRPO, Marta Amico has Fadime Walet Oumar, founder of Tartit'n'Chatma .

The journey continues with music, song, dance and words of women of the tribe Tuareg Kel Antsar.

THE LABORATORY OF DANCING AND SINGING

Women ensemble Tartit invite us to a stage singing and dancing in two styles Tuareg, standing and sitting, with hand movements to the tip of the fingers and flowing gestures, in a 'atmosphere by the strong aroma of tea.
