Pin pon announcement late ... on your mobile phone!
Once again Japan proves state- both in technology and in services to users ... This time it is JR, the state railways in Japan.
This article tells us that Japan has developed a system to issue a "certificate of delay" to commuters who take the train, in the unfortunate (and rare ) when the train is late. This certificate is valid formally also to the employer and the service is completely free for all the unfortunate people who were on the train and stumbled in late.
a fee instead is an additional service, with which you can receive email directly on your phone that provides real time information on the possible delay of the train you want, and proposes alternative means to achieve the goal as quickly as possible.
The cost is 210 yen per month less than 1.40 € ... if I remember correctly this is about the cost of shorter-way of a train Italian.
Italy will not NEVER service levels in Japan (no will), but perhaps it would be good every now and then to glance where things work well.
knows not to get a good inspiration ... finally ....
